About Warrington PartnershipWarrington Partnership is the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) covering the Borough of Warrington.
LSPs provide high level direction and planning activity across a broad range of partner organisations including: public sector organisations which serve the local area, such as the Police, PCT, Council and Fire Service; third sector organisations (voluntary and community) such as the Council for Voluntary Service and Warrington Disability Partnership; and the private sector, such as local businesses.
What do LSPs do?
By bringing together the different parts of public, private and third sectors, LSPs allow different initiatives and services to work together more effectively, deliver better value and benefits, and improve the quality of life for local people. Through joint working we have a far greater chance of success. LSPs are responsible for providing a Sustainable Community Strategy and Local Area Agreement for their area. These documents outline the shared priorities for all of our partners in areas such as children and young people, health, older people, community safety, housing, the environment, transport, learning, investment, regeneration and community engagement. All the plans of our partners should link in to the Sustainable Community Strategy, to ensure that everyone is working towards the same shared vision.
The Partnership’s vision for Warrington
Warrington Partnership has a vision that states:
“By 2030, Warrington will be recognised as one of the best places to live and work in the UK, where everyone enjoys an outstanding quality of life.”
